Competitive driving is ingrained in MG’s very DNA. The very first MG car was built specifically for a competition; the car won a gold medal in the 1925 Land’s End Trail with its tuned 1548cc engine and three speed gearbox. The K3 Magnetite then took MG to the Le Mans and further solidified their place in motorsports. Yet, MG’s first outright success in motorsports came in 1927 from a privately entered 14/40, which won a 100 km race at San Martin, Argentina. MG is a brand with sporting pedigree which continues to be involved in all levels of competitive motorsports throughout the world.
